1. Information we collect

For Premium accounts we collect: email address, phone number, and full name. This is used for account creation, authentication, customer support, and subscription management.
1.2 Camera access
The camera is used only to complete wake‑up challenges (e.g., verifying you are out of bed). Photos/videos are processed on your device and are not uploaded or stored on SmartRise servers.
1.3 Analytics data
We use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) that may collect device information, app interactions, crash reports, and performance data to help improve SmartRise.
1.4 Automatically collected information
When you use the app, we may automatically collect device type, operating system, language, IP address (or coarse location derived from IP), and usage patterns.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve SmartRise features and performance.
- Authenticate users and manage Premium subscriptions and the 14‑day free trial.
- Perform analytics and diagnostics to enhance stability and usability.
- Show ads and measure their effectiveness (if applicable).
- Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users): We rely on contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (analytics, security), and consent where required (e.g., certain analytics/ads categories).
3. Camera & on‑device processing
- Camera access is used solely for challenge verification.
- Image/video data is processed on the device and is not uploaded to our servers.
- No biometric identifiers are created or stored by SmartRise.
- You can revoke camera permission at any time via your device settings.
4. Data storage & security
- Premium account information is stored securely in Firebase (authentication/database).
- Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We apply industry‑standard safeguards; however, no method is 100% secure.
- Retention: We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time (see Your rights).
5. Sharing & third parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information with:
- Google Analytics / Firebase – for usage analytics, app performance, crash reporting, and database/auth services.
- Advertising SDKs – to serve and measure ads (if present). These partners may collect device identifiers and usage data according to their policies.
- Legal & compliance – to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
Where required, we ensure appropriate contracts and data protection safeguards with service providers.
6. Accounts, free trial & subscriptions
- All users receive a 14‑day free trial.
- Full features require a Premium account. Creating a Premium account requires your email, phone number, and full name.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting support or using in‑app controls (if available).
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Managing choices
- Permissions: Revoke camera and other permissions in your device’s Settings → Apps → SmartRise → Permissions.
- Analytics: If the app provides an analytics toggle, you can disable it in‑app; otherwise contact us to opt‑out where applicable.
- Data deletion: Request account deletion by emailing support@proverbix.com from your registered address.
CCPA/CPRA (California) You may have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt‑out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information.
GDPR (EEA/UK) You may contact us to exercise your rights or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children’s privacy
SmartRise is for a general audience and primarily intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country (including the United States and the European Union). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above and, when appropriate, notify you in‑app.
